Today's Daily Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Best starting pitchers, streamers for Thursday, June 13Sporting News — (Matt Lutovsky)
With only two afternoon games, it's a fairly large Thursday main MLB DFS slate tonight. As a result, our SP rankings are deeper than usual for a Thursday, and there are some surprising value sleepers on both FanDuel and DraftKings.
Our top five are particularly solid, though all cost a premium. If you're looking to pay down, Marcus Stroman (@ Orioles) and Jack Flaherty (@ Mets) both have high upsides and fair prices, and Ryan Yarbrough (vs. Angels) is a boom-or-bust option at an affordable price who works well in GPPs. Erick Fedde (vs. D-backs) has a relatively low ceiling, but with his rock-bottom price, he's not a bad option, especially as an SP2 on DraftKings.
Jon Lester (@ Dodgers) and Matt Strahm (@ Rockies) are obvious fades given the matchups/parks, but both have enough talent to come through in GPPs.

wRC+ is defined by Fangraphs as "[measuring] how a player’s wRC compares with league average after controlling for park effects. League average for position players is 100, and every point above 100 is a percentage point above league average. For example, a 125 wRC+ means a player created 25% more runs than a league average hitter would have in the same number of plate appearances. Similarly, every point below 100 is a percentage point below league average, so a 80 wRC+ means a player created 20% fewer runs than league average." For more on the stat, click here.
